Carmel Fudge Brownies
1 Box Devils Food Cake Mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter melted
2/3 cup canned milk
6 ounces Chocolate Chips
1 Bag carmels
Powdered Sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup of canned milk and melted butter in mixing bowl.
Put one third of mixture in glass 9 x 13 pan. This will be a thin layer of brownie mixture (1/4 inch or so thick).
Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. You will need to spread it around with a spoon.
Remove from oven.
Do the following while mixture is baking:

Unwrap 1 bag of carmels and put in medium sauce pan.
Add 1/3 cup canned milk.
Heat ingredients on low heat until melted - always stirring.
Let cool slightly - 1or 2 minutes
Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked brownies.
Pour melted carmel mixture over baked brownies and chocolate chips.
Pat rest of dough as evenly as possible over carmel mixture. (Buttered fingers helps with this process.)
It will look like this when you are finished spreading the rest of the mix over the carmel mixture.

Put back in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
Remove from oven and let completely cool. I cover them and let them cool overnight.
The baked brownies will look like this.

Cut in one inch squares and roll in powdered sugar.
