Julie and Matt are expecting our fourth grandchild on September 12th.

Last week was a week of firsts! We ate grilled Salmon and liked it! Yes, Susan, the non-seafood eater, liked it! Dan likes seafood, but didn't think he liked Salmon. I guess it is true. Your taste buds change as you grow older.
And the other first is that Mabel is starting to walk. This video shows her first steps walking to the DVD shelf at her house to put her toy in it.

It's hard to believe the first month of 2012 is already gone. This is lining up to be a busy year for us. We have our Grand Canyon trip planned, a photography class and of course our first Grandson due on March 25th. And that's just what we have planned and know about the first month of 2012.
Mabel van Gogh is an appropriate name for this cute video. She has been busy learning to color and draw. Here is the latest video of her concentrating on keeping her crayons on the paper and deciding which color(s) she would like to use. It looks like we may have the second left handed grandchild. She tends to favor using her left hand to eat and draw. Matilyn is definitely left handed.
